About us

Palmiye Wood Decoration is a woodworking company in Istanbul, and this site is dedicated to our solid wood kitchens. These are kitchens where doors, frames and visible panels are made from real timber, so the room gains the colour, texture and slow ageing that only natural wood has.

Timber selection is where a solid wood kitchen begins. Oak is a frequent choice for its strength and open grain, walnut for its depth of colour, ash and hornbeam for lighter tones, and other species can be sourced on request. We sort boards for each kitchen so that neighbouring doors look related, and we use frame and panel construction that allows the wood to move without cracking.

Finishing protects the kitchen in daily use. Depending on the look you want, we apply hard-wearing oils, stains or clear lacquer, and we can combine solid wood fronts with lacquered sections, a contrasting island or stone worktops. Inside the cabinets, drawers and fittings are planned around your cookware and appliances.

The project follows a clear path: a site visit to measure the room and note plumbing and electrical points, a layout and material proposal, manufacture in our workshop and installation by our own team. We make kitchens for houses, villas and hotel suites, and we can prepare a sample door before production. Kitchens can also be packed and shipped abroad. Send us your plan and preferred timber, and we will prepare a design and offer.
